About Cubs

The journey to shape the best kindergarten and school started more than 35 years ago. Recognising the widening gap in the development of a child using common approaches, the founders have put together a team of qualified and capable curriculum developers to assist in creating the vision of giving children a voice and the ability to be decision makers and owners of their learning journey. In this competitive and challenging world, children need to be equipped with the tools to build their self-confidence and strengths that assists them in their journey to success.

Our Philosophy

LEARNING IS NATURAL

The curriculum is based on Urie Bronfenbrenner’s Ecology theory that equates children’s development to their surroundings via the people they encounter, the environment they are exposed too, the levels of society they grow in and finally the global exposure they receive. Our programme allows for the child to explore, identify, discover and decide thus taking ownership of their outcomes. They are able to apply their discoveries and learning outcomes in their day to day life and recognize the connection from what they learn to what is around them.

Our Environment

The design of our environment is dependent on the market we are serving but there are a few common factors taken into consideration to make the environment conducive:

We expose our learners to activities that inculcate creativity, critical thinking, sustainable values and future life-skills readiness to better prepare them to accommodate the changing world.

Explore

Our learners will be encouraged to explore by using tools provided to them within the programme. This will give them a deeper understanding of the activities so that they can apply it in their lives.

Express

Learners will be given the opportunity to externalise their new found skills by reflecting and expressing their thoughts. This will allow them to relate to the world around them.

For a few days our daughter attended her trial classes, we observed that the teachers were very passionate and patient in handling the students. "Cubs Early Years is a wonderful place for parents who want to enrol their children for a fun filled experience that provides a complete integrated syllabus in Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin and Agama classes. The teachers are highly dedicated and I can sense their sincerity. My son, Naim loves the school so much that he tags along every time we go out, in the hopes that we drop him off at school. This shows how much he enjoys going to school. With that being said, the price I am paying is worth it as the school provides quality food and fun, exciting, comprehensive classes. I like that the classes ends at 2pm which is very convenient for myself as parent to pick up my child at non rush hour. I strongly recommend this school to any parents who want to give a chance for their kids to have the best time of the life learning and growing."
